Mood af all day today. Sunday’s are made for R&B. After being up way too late last night, I finally head to the heart of downtown LA to the Think Tank Gallery. Honestly, this was a clutterfuck lmao. Luckily, there was a street meter open right out front, but this was in the middle the Fashion District’s peak shopping hours. People were not so friendly.
Drinkin’ Smokin’ & West Coastin’: A Group Love/Hate Letter to LA. This consists of a month long calendar of shows and events, all relating to the culture and stereotypes here in the City of Angels. The best part: the art gallery is free. I believe it’s open for another week, so don’t miss out. The hours are Thursday to Sunday from 11am-5pm. I’ve been wanting to go all month, and I’m just glad I was able to squeeze it in today.
Shout out to my babygirl Gloria for even telling me about this. People always ask me where or how I find out about all my events, and I always say word of mouth. You’d be surprised how much exists in this city if you just step foot outside of your comfort zone and go explore. Even something as simple as walking down Melrose. Each part of LA has its own history, own culture, own identity.
This was my favorite piece in there, hands down. Just found out the artist who’s responsible and going to tag him now. There were so many other dope shots but I’ll let you guys go visit. There was some feminist Pussy Parade going on at the same time that was a bit intimidating lmao but we survived. Shout out to Corey for being a real one and joining me.
on a rooftop in hollywood with my favorite people. shout out to @MamaShelterLA for always providing the vibe ✨

Mobbed to Hollywood with the bros to meet my homegirl who was going to help with this very blog y’ll are reading rn lmao. I’m trynta step my game up. So just wait on it. Mama Shelter, we meet again. I told you guys I’d give you more on this hidden gem last time she brought me here, but I forgot to take flicks again lmao. Oh well. This restaurant/rooftop lounge is the perfect spot for meetings, brunch, drinks, etc. The sun was beaming down on me as I sipped my hot tea. It was fucking glorious.

Besides getting a ton of work done, the only other thing I had scheduled today was to stop by Lil Yachty’s pop-up shop at Delicious Pizza in LA. This is the same exact shop the Dilla Donuts pop-up shop was held. Translation: Delicious Pizza is KILLING it. Turns out, this was around the corner on Sunset. We walked a solid 4 minutes. It was meant to be.

I walk inside the busy shop to find the owner, Rick, posted on the stool. This guy co-owns this delicious pizza joint (no pun intended) and is an absolute sweetheart. Seriously, he’s so sweet and always greets me as if we’ve been friends forever. This Yachty takeover was so perfect. If you guys follow Lil Boat, you’ll know he eats nothing but pizza. Like, no veggies at all. Just pizza, and… more pizza.

The set up in the room next to the food was fucking dope. They had pizza boxes on pizza boxes and merch on merch. The bomber jacket was probably my favorite piece, but real talk, all the shirts were dope af. There were so many options too, and they took your order as if you were ordering a pizza. Overall, this experience from a customer’s standpoint was A1.
Had to catch a flick. Sad I missed Yachty passing out pizza here yesterday. But still had a blast.
