Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Was Everything & More

Happy Rolling Loud day. I def missed Lil Wayne’s set to go see Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse with my bros. They swooped me from Banc of California Stadium and we mobbed to The Grove to be fashionably late for the 10:50pm showing. First off, this place is fucking beautiful during Christmas. Makes me so happy just walking through all the lights. Second off, I had no idea this movie was going to be animated lmao. Took me a sec to warm up but falling in love.

IMDB plot: Miles Morales becomes the Spider-Man of his reality and crosses paths with his counterparts from other dimensions to stop a threat to all reality.

That didn’t explain much lmao but all I knew (from what my bro told me) was that this was supposed to depict a black man’s Spider-Man, which I thought was really dope. Great message and all the epic comic book graphics all throughout the film, honestly too cute. Also the same dry humor as Deadpool, which I’m a huge fan of.

It wasn’t just me that loved it either. This film got like 98% on both critics and fans sides, which NEVER happens. Salute. I didn’t even know the white Spider-Man was Jake Johnson from New Girl until halfway through. I love him! He was perfect. There was a very beautiful scene with Stan Lee, which I believe they filmed before he passed. RIP to a legend.

Also, the soundtrack has been going crazy. “Sunflower” by Post Malone & Swae Lee go crazy. It’s only 2 hours long but honestly No spoilers, please go see this so we can talk about it! Marvel always prevails.
