HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Even with my broken iPhone, I was able to find the beauty in these text messages. Everyone who texted me warmed my heart. Not that it’s an indicator of friendship whatsoever, but it just means the other person was thinking of you. I’ll take that any day.
at @Starbucks writing a 12 page paper and @sabrinaclaudio comes on ❤️

My Thanksgiving break consists of writing this final paper that my entire class is based on. FML. The worst part is procrastinating and not paying attention in class. So I have no idea if I’m doing it right. For those who don’t know, I’m in USC’s Master of Social Work program, on the slowest track known to mankind. Eyes on the prize. I just want to finish at this point.

And here we are. Movie date with my brother, my only friend here lmao. Jk. But really I tried to hang out today and no one was down. Everyone was busy cooking a turkey with their fam. So envious. Unfortunately, being a first-generation Chinese American, my family doesn’t do any of that. We used to get Boston Market, but that was me forcing them. ANYWAYS, Justice League: a 2017 American superhero film based on the DC Comics superhero team consisting of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg. Honestly, I had such high expectations coming from Thor: Ragnarok. Honestly, team Marvel.

My bro and I hit the 5pm showing at AMC Cupertino 16, my old stomping grounds. So nostalgic. Except it was empty lmao. Literally cricket cricket. But then my brother brought up a good point: Thanksgiving dinner. Wops. AMC definitely used to be my second home. Today was a letdown. We walk in a few minutes late after grabbing our free popcorn (from when Guest Services took too long the other night), and find two seats near the edge. I totally fucked up and put my feet up on the chair in front of me, not knowing there was someone there. Her boyfriend was livid. I was like shiiiiiiit my bad. It was awkward after that. The movie started out alright, mainly because I love Wonder Woman. That movie was FIRE.
Honestly, I was bored the entire 2 hours lmao. And 2 hours is usually a stretch. So being bored that long meant my ADD was off the wall. I wasn’t following at all and kept talking and asking questions which annoyed the shit out of my brother. (I whisper though). There were so many characters I didn’t recognize, such as people from Game of Thrones. Tf? Why are they in this movie!!! I have no idea why but I’m not a fan.

I literally forgot Ben Affleck was Batman lmao but that was chill. And Amy Adams playing Lois Lane. Gal Gadot playing Wonder Woman probably saved the movie. It was just so anti-climatic. Idk, idk, idk. I’m sad because I could have seen Coco, the Pixar movie lmao. Really down for that one. Anyways. Save your money.
