As it stands, Cardi B proves to be a role model for not only this generation, but generations to come. Her resilience and determination to stay true to herself have positioned her to be one of the most entertaining rappers of our time.
Meanwhile, Offset’s standout ad-libs and undeniable pen game on all Migos’ records do not go unnoticed. While he may seem more subtle than the other Migos members’, he’s the perfect compliment to Cardi B’s erratic, spontaneous, and reckless behavior. It was only a matter of time before they found each other.
Cardi and Offset linked up for “Lick” back in 2016, and the collab was the start of an iconic rap love affair. While the record may not have taken off initially, fans can now refer back to it as a reminder of the couple’s synergy and chemistry. Their relationship hasn’t been drama-free, but Cardi and Offset seem stronger than ever, especially with confirmation of Cardi B’s pregnancy.

At the end of 2016, Cardi B teases “Lick.” The track is officially released on Jan. 20, along with rest of her Gangsta Bitch Music Vol. 2 project.
Feb. 5, 2017 – Offset Takes Cardi To The Super Bowl
Cardi and Offset are seen at the Super Bowl—very casual first date.
Feb. 14, 2017 – IG Official
No relationship is official until it’s IG official.
March 17, 2017 – Cardi Denies The Relationship
Cardi refers to Offset as a “friendly collaborator,” and goes on to state, “I’m not saying I’m dating an Atlanta guy.”
April 16, 2017 – …And Then Confirms It
A month later, she does a 180, saying, “I see the boy.” She also refers to herself and Offset as “real gangstas”—that’s when you know it’s real.
