Still can’t believe I was this close to Kanye. I went to bed at 6am because I was writing. Got home at almost 2:30am from the Teyana Taylor/Kanye West #KTSE listening and wrote a piece on Okayplayer. This makes every second worth it.

My heart is so warm. Shout out to my babygirl Noor for convincing me to go see Incredibles 2. It actually was the best decision all week. Hopped on over to AMC Burbank 16 after work to find absolute mayhem. The movies were the place to be tonight apparently. It was PACKED. We actually got stuck in the front row for the 7:40pm showing which is crazy because it’s not even opening weekend. Our theater was fun though. I love fun theaters!
No more waiting. 💥 See #Incredibles2, now playing in theatres. pic.twitter.com/HLBIoTula2

For those who don’t know, please do yourself a favor and go see this. Few things that never fail in this world: Disney and Pixar. This is the best cartoon movie I’ve seen since Coco. What I loved most was the short film at the beginning. It was of an Asian family and how they make and eat dumplings…. it was fucking cute and way too accurate for how I was raised. The whole time I was just scheming on how to get this to my parents. “Go watch the 5 minutes before Incredibles 2 please.”
IMDB plot: Bob Parr (Mr. Incredible) is left to care for the kids while Helen (Elastigirl) is out saving the world.
So this is the sequel to the first Incredibles, which I high chance saw but don’t remember a single thing. The movie is over 2 hours long which is a bit long for an animated film but I swear it was worth every minute. The plot is interesting and I’m sure had a lot of subtle life messages. There were a couple moments where I actually was freaked out and I thought, how the hell to kids watch this? I’m 27.
Anyways, there’s not much to say other than go see this. It’s a masterpiece.
