AllHipHop caught up with King Combs in Los Angeles to discuss new music, having Diddy as a father and more.

Like father, like son. With Diddy being one of the biggest hip-hop moguls to date, King Combs wastes no time when it comes to turning his dreams into a reality.

At 19-years-old, King Combs, real name Christian Combs not only signed to his father’s Bad Boy imprint last year, but he also dipped his toes into modeling, when he became the new face of Dolce & Gabbana.

King Combs has released many notable releases, including “Feeling Savage” featuring 16-year-old Smooky MarGielaa, his “Paid In Full” freestyle, and most recently “Love You Better” featuring Chris Brown.

AllHipHop caught up with King Combs after his L.A. Leakers freestyle at Power 106 in Los Angeles to discuss new music, having Diddy as a father, and more.

AllHipHop: You’re family are all artists. How competitive does it really get even out of love?

King Combs: Me and Quincy are the only artists, but we don’t really compete like that. We always push each other to go harder. When we’re all freestyling in the studio and stuff like that, it gets a little real.

AllHipHop: You’ve grown up in the spotlight almost you’re entire life. How have you managed the fame?

King Combs: It’s been dope. I’ve always appreciated the fan love — people appreciating my existence, my family’s existence. It’s always been dope.

AllHipHop: Did you ever have to see a psychologist or anything to adjust to the fame?

King Combs: Nah, none of that. It’s just a part of the life.

AllHipHop: How the modeling deal with IMG coming along?

King Combs: It’s great. I love IMG, the whole family. Shout out Dolce & Gabbana and Tommy Hilfiger. It’s been a blessing.

AllHipHop: You just came from the studio with your father. Can you talk about the new music you have coming?

King Combs: I have a song that’s dropping with 03 Greedo and Kai Cash. I have a mixtape that’s about to drop with the whole CYN crew. I have my album coming soon. A song with Jeremiah and Rich The Kid. A lot of heat for the streets.

AllHipHop: What’s the worst thing you’ve done to piss your dad off?

King Combs: The worst thing I did to piss my dad off was not get good grades. I slept on that. At first, I didn’t think that he was gonna get too mad at me. It wasn’t good.

AllHipHop: What is it that you want fans to get from your story?

King Combs: I want fans to know that I’m humble, that I work for everything that I do. And I just want them to have a good time when they listen to my music. I want to make them happy, feel good, dance.
