Saturday, January 19th
Happy Saturday… my day started off with walking out to my car getting broken into. AGAIN. What the fuck đ In my OWN apartment building at The Orsini. My back window was shattered. They stole a Don C x Remy Martin shoebox, my Power 106 mic + cable, and $100 worth of clothes. That’s just what I remember too. It kills me that I can’t remember what else I had back there đ
I’ve been emo all day. Shout out to Val & Corey for going to the movies with me. Literally so grateful for them. We saw Glass, which absolutely blew our minds. In the best way possible. The best part is that we all saw Split together, this is the sequel. We were in the main theater for the 7:20pm showing, which was surprisingly empty. It’s opening weekend, where was everyone?
GLASS WAS FUCKING NUTS.

It was a lit theater though. We were on the balcony & the screen was huge. The movie got 80% on Rotten Tomatoes, which I think it could have gotten higher. It’s a fucking mind trip in itself. If you like thrillers, dramas, shit that makes you think, this is definitely for you.
IMDB plot:Â Security guard David Dunn uses his supernatural abilities to track Kevin Wendell Crumb, a disturbed man who has twenty-four personalities.
This plot does the film no justice. All I have to say is salute to M. Night Shyamalan, that man is a fucking genius! He’s the one who did Signs & The Village. The best part isn’t that he wrote and directed this film, but he also plays a small role in the very beginning. Had no idea he was Indian lmao shout out to Val for pointing him out.
If you guys saw Unbreakable, that was the first movie. The second movie is Split, and Glass ties both movies together. I can’t get over James McAvoy & his fucking lit acting skills. His character has split personalities & will go from 9-year-old boy to a mother to a monster in like 10 seconds. I hope he gets an Oscar soon. Shit is nuts. The whole movie takes place in a psychiatric ward, which really rubbed me the wrong way. But it’s a movie. So it’s not real.
Movie runs for 2 hours and 9 minutes but literally was into every minute. The end is the biggest plot twist known to mankind lmao. Ya’ll gotta go.
