Omg, Alita: Battle Angel was so lit. Honestly. Not quite sure what happened in the end, but it was 2 hours and 2 minutes of pure action. Successfully went to the movies 3 days in a row now… but more just needed an excuse to hang with the bros. We hit the 10:35pm showing at Edwards Alhambra Renaissance 14, half-off Sundays! You can’t pass this up.

It seems like this is the one big movie out right now. It got 93% on Rotten Tomatoes, which is pretty fucking high. The director is Robert Rodriguez, who did Spy Kids, Sin City, etc. This film takes place centuries in the future, which means lots of CGI. Shout out to Rose Salazar who slays her role, you could hardly tell she was human.
IMDB plot: A deactivated female cyborg is revived, but cannot remember anything of her past life and goes on a quest to find out who she is.
Short and simple lmao. This is one of the movies you have to just trust is fire when you walk in, and leave completely satisfied. That’s all I have to say. Go see this!
