Sneakersnstuff (SNS) has officially arrived in sunny Los Angeles. Since 1999, it’s been one of the leading, most well-respected sneaker retailers in the game. So it was only a matter of time before this start-up set-up shop next to Silicon Beach.
Founders Erik Fagerlind and Peter Jansson transformed their love for collecting sneakers back home in Sweden into a genuine retail experience for consumers all over the world.
SNS is known for partnering with best-in-class creatives, artists, local influencers and crews in cities across the world to create innovative opportunities, events and platforms that continue the fashion conversation among like-minded communities.
Once I stepped inside their Venice location, this very statement was brought to life. Their vibrant shop had some of the hottest sneakers I’d ever seen. Every pair was displayed in the most clean, organized, and tasteful fashion that caught this consumer’s attention immediately and effortlessly.
The store’s aesthetic is inspired by the local scene. Its storefront is located in the middle of the Venice Beach boardwalk 20 feet from the ocean. So you already know its laidback energy perfectly summed up the Californian lifestyle we all know and love.
We Take Note was invited to the pre-store grand opening, which celebrated the company’s 20th anniversary. Friends, family, influencers, and sneakerheads, of course, were all in attendance. With live music from Taco, free drinks, a dancing SNS mascot, and endless sneakers and swag to choose from, the event was the definition of inclusive.
Additional 20-year anniversary celebrations included exclusive collaborations, custom releases, the opening of a SNS New York bar, and phone app dedicated to making sure the sneaker-buying experience is as flawless as possible. If you want to check out this one-stop shop for any sneaker imaginable, check out their site. If you can’t wait to have your new kicks delivered to your door, then visit one of their retail stores in cities like Stockholm, London, Berlin, Paris, New York, and now Los Angeles.
