deadmau5 (real name Joel Zimmerman) needs no introduction. He arrives as one of the most well-respected producers/DJs to ever grace the dance music world. In addition to his accolades — which include endless platinum-selling singles and seven critically-acclaimed projects — the six-time-Grammy-winning musician continues to break boundaries in music, shattering numbers in both streaming and followers across all social media platforms.

Now, he is celebrating the beginning of his forthcoming cubev3 tour with a full-blown pop-up shop in Los Angeles. Kicking off night one of five shows at the Hollywood Palladium, his friends and family gathered on Wednesday, September 25th at the exclusive space on top of Coffee Bean on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood.

Hosted by TIDAL, the mau5trap clubhouse featured an open bar by Corona, a “BYOMH” mau5head gallery, brand-new art installations, the Cube V3 Mclaren, limited-edition merch, and an interactive music experience powered by Specdrums. The latter gave attendees a chance to use an iPad to create their own music through the press of a button. Each color corresponded with a certain instrument, such as piano or drums, allowing attendees to be creative and enter the mind of Zimmerman himself.

The merch options were endless, boasting everything from tour tees to jerseys and crystal wash hoodies with the words “Inside my head there’s a little place left for you” printed on the back. There were even tarot cards from i_o available!

Fans will be able to visit the pop-up and get a chance to meet Zimmerman at the following times:

Thursday September 26: in-store signing from 3pm to 5pm.
Friday, September 27: i_o in-store signing from 2pm-5pm & a specdrum/sphero demo.
Saturday, September 28: mau5trap day where various label artists will be signing from 2pm-5pm with a 1-hour Q&A panel.
