Angelina Jolie Is The Perfect ‘Maleficent: Mistress of Evil’

October 19, 2019

Friday, October 19th

Happy Friday! Holy shit. Maleficent: Mistress of Evil was sooooo good. I honestly loved every second of it. I can’t believe how fire Angelina Jolie is, it’s honestly not fair. It’s 12:30am & I just got home from my long ass day. Worked, interviewed Yungeen Ace at the station, got my hair did, interviewed 24Hrs at his listening in Beverly Hills, then hit the 9:15pm showing at AMC Century City 15 with my girl Ari. Shout out to her for wanting to see this, I was just down for the ride. We just saw Joker here two weeks ago too.

Literally saw The Addam’s Family last night but this did not compare. First off, the entire day every time I’d tell someone I was going to see Maleficent, their reaction was “it’s out?!” I had no idea this movie was that poppin’ but the hype is real. And the hype makes perfect sense. This was two hours of pure entertainment. Plus the fact that it’s Disney means it can’t fail… like it wasn’t possible for this movie to suck.

IMDB plot: Maleficent and her goddaughter Aurora begin to question the complex family ties that bind them as they are pulled in different directions by impending nuptials, unexpected allies, and dark new forces at play.

Sooooo if you don’t know, this is the sequel to the first Maleficent. Pretty sure I saw it, just don’t remember shit. Story of my life 🙁 But they do a great job of making sure you don’t NEED to see the first film to understand the sequel. Regardless, Angelina is absolutely flawless & deserves an Oscar. There’s action throughout the whole movie. It got 96% on Rotten Tomatoes which is completely accurate. The life lessons (family, love, and morals) all come together at the end so beautifully.
