‘Bad Boys for Life’ Was So Fucking Funny.

January 21, 2020

Monday, January 20th

Happy Monday! I literally got back from Dubai yesterday & worked. Did an interview & smoked, it felt really good to be back. I like… craved it almost. Today I worked & went to physical therapy. My wrist (fractured it in a car accident a month & a half ago) isn’t on progress as it should be & it made me really sad but now I’m realizing how much attention I have to put into doing these damn exercises. Been slacking 🙁

After a long day (the workload never ends), I was so looking forward to going to the movies. I heard great things about the new Bad Boys for Life & had to make time. Shout out to my bb Cherise for being my date always. We hit the 10pm showing at AMC Burbank 16, which was empty af! I was surprised, being it’s a holiday. But I guess people got work the next day. One time for Martin Luther King Jr., & also the street meters being off today.

Of course, any movie with Will Smith is a win (minus Gemini Man, so trash). Me personally, I never watched Martin, but Martin Lawrence was fucking hilarious. We legit were laughing out loud at all his jokes. This is the third sequel I believe to the original film, which came out 17 years ago in 1993. Brazy! & they haven’t aged a second. They’re saying rumors of a 4th one coming too…

IMDB plot: The Bad Boys Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett are back together for one last ride in the highly anticipated Bad Boys for Life.

I went into this thinking it was a comedy, but it’s a whole action film. Blood & all. Was definitely not ready for it, but you find out hella quick that these are two cops who have an inseparable bond for life. Lots of killing as with any detective movie but the two personalities just mesh so well. Also Vanessa Hudgens is in the movie, whom I thought was Will’s love interest Paola Nuñez the whole time. Fail lmao.

You don’t need to have seen the first or second films, because I didn’t. It’s entertaining from beginning to end, the whole 2 hours & 4 minutes. Our whole 6 people in this huge theater were cracking up. I really loved it. Plus the soundtrack is fire! City Girls, Megan Thee Stallion, Rick Ross… hella people.

Grammys are this week, & I wish I go to the movies instead of events lmao. But go see this! It’s fire.
