Rosie Darling is here to declare her place as a recording artist. Hailing from the Boston area, the singer-songwriter carries one hell of a voice and one hell of a story. From only being featured as the vocalist on various pop and EDM artists, she’s already accumulated over 8.12 million combined streams on Spotify.
Now she debuts herself as a recording artist with the release of “Coping,” her first-ever artist statement. Pairing it with an equally powerful visual, the record sees Rosie giving a first-person perspective of someone who went through a breakup, and how she coped. Of course, music has healing power — and the record is here to help the masses.
With “Coping” in the works for over a year, she states, “This song means so much to me, I was able to collaborate with one of my favorite producers, Andy Seltzer. I haven’t released music in a couple of years and most people recognize my voice from the EDM scene, so I’m super excited to see how Coping is received by my current audience. We’re living with a lot of uncertainty these days and I know many people, including myself, have gone through a lot of changes in 2020.”
