Queen Key is one of the hardest MCs to come out of Chicago, with an out-of-this-world personality you can’t help but fall in love with. Breaking the internet time and time again—from her breakout single “My Way,” which recently saw a revival when the Kardashians were seen vibing to the song on social media, to surprising the world that she was pregnant with triplets—Queen proves she can rap just as hard as her peers, regardless of gender.
Today, fans are ecstatic to be receiving Key’s highly-anticipated new project titled Your Highness 3, the third installment to her Your Highness series, with the first one released in 2017. The 25-track body of work sees standout features from G Herbo, Polo G, Yung Baby Tate, Tay Money, Kidd Kenn, and Lil Zay Osama, along with her BFF India on “Don’t Save Him.”
Queen Key states on the album, “I’m showing more range, different shit I could do lyrically with my voice. I’m maturing, this project shows maturity from where she was. There are songs where I’m honest and open about my personal life: my babies, the relationships with different people, how I be feeling. When people listen to it: if they’re real, they’ll know it’s some real shit. I’m the truth.”
In addition to the new project, Queen is excited as ever to be diving into the film world, shooting her first film called Loud Burger that’s slated to be released sometime this year. On the business tip, she’s readying to release her own weed strain called Keybo, a play of Deebo’s character in Friday.
