Hailing from Toronto, the R&B trio prides themselves in their stance for women empowerment, breathing a breath of fresh air into the lives of all those who listen to their music.
Comprised of members Bexk, Lilac X and Korahjay, BLK is excited as ever to be unleashing their debut EP titled Girl Magic, premiered today exclusively on Flaunt. The project features their standout single “Girls,” which is paired with a powerful black and white visual showcasing the beauty in Black Girl Magic.
Speaking on the project, Lilac X states, “The overall theme of the “Girl Magic” EP is female empowerment. When bad bxtches link up and create the transparent diary of the 21st century woman.”
Girl Magic is nothing short of bops after bops, giving listeners a vibe that is unmatched: exuding nothing but confidence, fun, sexiness, and empowerment.
Bexck explains, “The motivation behind ‘Girls’ is when you realize that you have the strength to let go of a toxic relationship or situationship. Finding the balance between f*** him, acknowledging your feelings and acquiring enough self-love to recognize your worth and leave that man on read.”
