If you haven’t heard of GETOVERHER, it’s time to get familiar. Serving as the brainchild, Jason Scott Henderson, a Queens, New York native, GETOVERHER embodies the definition of R&B with heartfelt lyrics that resonate with the soul. The singer-songwriter returns with his newest music video for “Zero Chance,” premiered today exclusively on Flaunt.
“Zero Chance” (originally produced by London’s Night Slugs founder, Bok Bok) is inspired by the notion of someone who hurts their significant other, who they cared for deeply. While the relationship may have terminated, GETOVERHER continues to love this person from afar.
Speaking on the Oliver Shore-directed visual, GETOVERHER states, “‘Zero Chance’ is a chic interpretation of the racing thoughts that filled my mind afterward. Fueled by self-loathing, various scenarios play out in my head involving guilt, jealousy, anxiety, and shame. A desire for self-preservation and hope shine through too, while the women-led cast and I manage to celebrate the sensuality and fluidity of love and heartbreak.”
Shot on location at Stoodio One in Brooklyn, New York, the stylish music video portrays the day dreams and fantasies that are familiar to anyone who’s ever broken their own heart and had to learn how to move on. The latest album by GETOVERHER, Nothing 2 Offer, is available now for streaming on all platforms, along with the newly released remixes of “Zero Chance” online everywhere: https://smarturl.it/knx36q.
