Destiny Raion is the newest artist on the scene, straddling the genres of R&B, soul, and pop while creating her own sound. Born and raised in Eire, Pennsylvania, the singer-songwriter serves as a breath of fresh air in the music industry, bringing in feel-good vibrations and energy that the world needs. During a time where the COVID-19 pandemic has seemingly reentered the picture, more than ever is music with substance both needed and appreciated. After relocating to Georgia, Destiny Raion found a newfound love for music, ready to dedicate her all into perfecting her craft. Now at 21, she unleashes her debut single titled “Happy Endings.”

For those who don’t know, who is Destiny Raion?
I’m a very motivated person, super creative, infectiously lovable , caring respectful. I’m a fun person all-around: I attract good vibes only.
When did you fall in love with music?
The day I heard myself sing lol. I was young when it became apart of me. I still walk around the house singing, it’s like it was destined.
Biggest influences?
My family and the people that I have around me. Aaliyah, Teyana Taylor Mariah The Scientist, Kehlani, and Adele. Their sound, expression of emotion, and their voices.
How would you describe your sound?
I can say my sound is very different and unique from others that are coming or already in the music industry. It’s deep and strong, and can be heard in a beautiful way.
What inspired your new song, “Happy Endings”?
It was lingering emotion that inspired this, someone I connected with in the past. We all have that someone we find and we say “this is forever.” So with that person, I truly felt there’s no place that I’d rather be.
How does it feel to be unveiling your debut record?
It’s exciting because I know it’s the start of a new beginning for me and my future. This is something that I’ve been dreaming about since forever I can remember, and I’m working very hard to keep pushing myself forward every step of the way no matter what.
What do you want fans to take away from the song?
I want my fans to be inspired to feel and love themselves. I want them to know we all go thru the same challenges at some point in our lives, no matter how big or small. And that it’s always okay to let yourself feel what you need to feel because in the end, you will get thru it.
What can we expect next from you?
A lot of surprises, I love to think outside the box randomly. I’ll be giving a lot of things to look forward to, the excitement is REAL!
