Eryn Martin is your new favorite singer-songwriter from Canada. It was in 2017 when the Brampton native casually shared her music with a friend, who decided to upload the record to SoundCloud titling it with a $ sign. Instantly, the internet caught wind of Eryn’s hypnotic voice as the streaming numbers started to rise.
With a newfound passion for not only music but art as a whole, Eryn has dedicated her life into finding her voice and sharpening her skillsets as a songwriter and recording artist. Now, she returns to release her newest single titled “Who Wouldn’t,” premiered exclusively on Flaunt. Successfully finishing her art/fashion program at Humber College, she continues to reel in influences from all genres, from Black Eyed Peas to Kanye West to Billie Eilish.
“Who Wouldn’t” was written a few years back during her time in school. Eryn states, “I was in my room sitting on my bed when I first listened to the beat, it made me want to party. But not a college party, I was thinking of all the finer things in life that I didn’t have in that exact moment in my life. John Wick was playing on my TV with the volume down and the Russians were partying in their private club in a pool, with fancy liquors and hot girls everywhere. I thought ‘damn, I could really live a life like that right about now. Who the hell wouldn’t want this?”
This release follows her previous records “Blonde” and “Middle Class,” serving as a prelude to the EP slated to drop next year.
