Coco & Breezy are proof that you don’t have to stick to one career in life. As thriving black female entrepreneurs with their own high-end sunglass brand called Coco and Breezy Eyewear, the twin sisters are also musicians in their own right. With an unwavering love and passion for music, the DJ and producers love to spin events and record in the studio any chance they can.
Now, they return to unveil the official music video for “Convo,” premiered exclusively on Flaunt. The single was released back in July, fusing the worlds of R&B, Afro-Latino percussion, indie-pop, and house music. Their vocals soar high under luscious chords and live congas, creating a classic feel that aligns directly with the modern times.
“This video is special because it gives people insight into our lives and what we stand for,” they state. “The footage is an archive of our experiences in quarantine and highlights several of our friends from around the world. It’s important during these times to create a visual that means something and connects us.”
Regardless, the girls hope to uplift and inspire the masses in facets of their lives. “Convo” is a call of action to share and have uncomfortable conversations… let’s talk about it!
