‘Impractical Jokers: The Movie’ Is Mindless Entertainment

Saturday, February 29th

February 29th! It’s leap year which means make it count. I got hella high today lmao & then felt guilty about it. But then I try to remind myself normal people relax on Saturdays versus work all the damn time. I did have an interview with Lola Monroe at the Kandypens house… I adore her! I keep saying I want to stop writing but I really do enjoy getting to know these individuals on a deeper level.

Also discovered my babygirl Laura has these phenomenal meditations from everyone from Nipsey Hussle to J. Cole to Jay Z. She cuts up portions of their interviews & then adds her own spiritual, positive energy to it. I cried. I loved it so much. Please listen above, and send to someone who needs it.

My rents are currently in town & they came over to my apartment today. I need to work on family stuff still, so much PTSD. I’ve been listening to G Herbo’s new album PTSD nonstop too, that shit hits home. My bro & I ended up watching Impractical Jokers: The Movie at AMC Burbank 16 at 8:10pm. We were hella late & missed the beginning but it didn’t matter at all. This film is literally just an hour 32 minutes of straight pranks.

IMPD plot: The story of a humiliating high school mishap from 1992 that sends the Impractical Jokers on the road competing in hidden-camera challenges for the chance to turn back the clock and redeem three of the four Jokers.

So I guess it’s a television show & they turned it into a movie? It’s 4 older white guys who prank each other and those in public. Our theater was packed & everyone was busting up. Literally I felt more inclined to enjoy it because of all the laughter in the room. It’s mindless entertainment, but definitely Netflix worthy in my opinion. Paula Abdul’s in it though, still don’t get the connection. Looks like the original film was in 1992… I was one-year-old.

It’s funny but go see Birds of Prey instead! That’s still my favorite.
