Hey everybody! This is literally the first movie blog I’ve written since before quarantine. A LOT has happened since, & I don’t have the energy to summarize everything. But I felt like this is the first film that I actually really truly enjoyed watching, as if we were going to the movies. My bro’s roomie had watched Palm Springs on Hulu & told us it was funny. He also said to NOT WATCH THE TRAILER! We watched it after the fact & it literally gave everything away. The surprise factor in the film is sort of amazing & it’s super entertaining the entire hour and 30 minutes. I need every movie to be that lenghth!
IMDB plot: When carefree Nyles and reluctant maid of honor Sarah have a chance encounter at a Palm Springs wedding, things get complicated as they are unable to escape the venue, themselves, or each other.
This is one of those chick flicks/rom-coms that I’d totally go see at AMC. Swear, I miss the movies the most out of everything in quarantine. Movie theatre popcorn! The star is Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti is his co-star, apparently she’s the mom in How I Met Your Mother. I don’t watch that show but I know people eat that shit up. The film definitely leaves you contemplating life in the most interesting way, I highly recommend!
I did get a puppy though, & it felt so good to come home to him tonight! It’s 2am. I started a new job so I’ve been going to sleep mad early, but I also get up mad early which is incredible. Gives you so much more time in the day. Okay hope everyone is staying safe. <3
