Damn. I’m lit lmao. Tonight I went back to my roots, again. Last time was the Iamsu show at El Rey just last week. I literally had plans tonight and canceled them real quick when I got this invite last night. P-Lo is my Bay Area spirit animal. Always. Him going dumb makes up for the rest of us combined. This was a private listening party for his project More Than Anything, dropping May 12. It was the same exact flier as this, only with an LA address. It was also Cinco De Mayo, which is why this next part is hilarious.

Shout out to Will, his manager, for this post. This shit is classic. This is the definition of how the Bay gets down. 0 fucks, turn up, and have a damn good time. I was home.

I walk in with the homie Tony, I love him to death. It was so fucking nuts too because I had just reached for my phone to text him, so I could invite him to this shit. I had nobody to go with lmao. And then he had texted me, the milli-second before I went to text him. WHAT. The universe is so crazy. That was pure fate.

It has legitimately been a goal of mine to go dumb with P-Lo, IRL. Tonight, my goal came true. (My other goal is to smoke with Wiz). He was rocking denim on denim, Yeezys, and a Louis Vuitton crossbody bag. Someone on the DX gram commented “The money be coming in” lmao. People crack me up. I told P-Lo I hope we stay friends. Cause I actually want to hang out with him lmao. But actually.

All the people that needed to be there were there. Shout out G-Eazy, G Perico, Salma Slims, Cash Passion, and Pun (can’t forget Pun) in attendance. I’m actually currently trying to create a video for DX gram combining two Snaps of G-Eazy and P-Lo, and it’s taking FOREVER. Like fuck technology man lmao.

Here’s one of them. “Feel Good” is his record with young Gerald. It doesn’t get more bay than these two right here. Them going dumb bring me pure joy. P-Lo played us the album all the way through, starting with “The One.” We were all fucking giggin’ the second that beat dropped.

Okay I give up on the video lmao. Literally, all that time for nothing. The quality was shit in the end and I had to subscribe to this app for $5.99. This is me hating social media lmao. But anyways. “Never Sorry” with Pluto Mars is another banger. In fact, it was so lit, they had to play it back. The second round was just as good. That’s the next single I believe, if it isn’t already. P-Lo is seriously a genius to me. How is everything so damn fire?

Shout out to his DJ Cal-A ending the evening with that new “M.O.B.” by Husalah. Michelle from Audible Treats emailed that out this morning and I was like omg, Husalah’s back?! Halla. If you from the bay, you already know what’s good.

The best part of all this was P-Lo thanking us for coming. Like, nah bro. Thank you. He said we could have been anywhere else, but we chose here. Shout out to my girl Shavone for being the realist of the realist. She drove me out in her boss ass jeep that had me feeling somewhat worthy in life lmao <3.
