Holy fuck, January is over. That was fucking fast. Still mourning the loss of Kobe, Gigi, Nipsey, Lexii Alijai, Juice WRLD… life is crazy. It’s just a huge reminder to live in the present and appreciate each moment on this earth. Today is Friday, it’s 2am, literally just wrapped an interview. Kobe did teach me to outwork everyone. His hustle, grind, overall mentality is admirable across all fronts.

I worked all day today, & still managed to go on a run. Key Glock’s new album Yellow Tape slaps, I swear I’m obsessed with his music (and him). Tonight, finally got to go to the movies. Shout out to Val & Corey for being my dates, we saw Like A Boss at 9:20pm at AMC Burbank 16. All I knew was Tiffany Haddish is in it, & I adore her. She’s so funny and so inspiring.

IMDB plot: Two friends with very different ideals start a beauty company together. One is more practical while the other wants to earn her fortune and live a lavish lifestyle.

Tiffany co-stars w/ Rose Byrne, who is also hilarious! I was trying to figure out where she’s from & now I remember: Bridesmaids. Them together was perfect. They played besties who own a makeup line/shop and it’s basically just a feel-good comedy/chick flick. I literally live for these movies. It’s my only time to relax lmao. Our theater was laughing out loud at everything, I loved it.

The film is only an hour 23 minutes, hella perfect. All movies need to be this length. It only got 65% on Rotton Tomatoes, they don’t appreciate comic relief clearly lmao.
